I've stopped using mica powder when doing works like this. Resin dye liquid works so much better. It mixes so much better.

I don't recall which video it was but you mentioned an additive you used to make your waves look deeper. I'm wondering if just a drop of liquid dark blue in a cup of resin would do the same result.

Hi I'm starting to understand how to do this but i need info on the timing of the colors and white.how long should i wait? As far as cells, To make it thicken enough to pour ? I use white pigment paste, resin and 1 or 2 drops of white alcohol ink. Resin is JDSpoxy casting resin.thanks.love your work.

Thank you for this! Everyone keeps saying to use acrylic, but that just doesn't work LOL. This past week I tried a couple different brands, and I was extremely disappointed in the sharpie paint markers. Not sure if that had to do with the type of tip or not, it was a hard tip on the extra fine ones I tried, and not a felt or brush type tip. Going to try a few more to see what works best for me.

My first favorites are chocolate and strawberry licorice (twizzlers).
